One of the most rapidly growing part of the company is the Digital Audience Measurement Capability. The company was among the first companies to offer market research. From the year 2006, all the way through 2011, Nielsen. The company listed itself on New York Stock Exchange. One of the corporate affairs of the company is that FIFA signed up with them to provide official market research for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The company's Buy segment basically focuses on the packaged goods companies and retailers in understanding what the consumers generally tend to buy in terms of categories, brands and products. For example, the company deals measures as to the purchase ratings of Diet Coke vs Diet Pepsi in the stores. The measurement of sales performance also creates a range of forward looking analytics that helps client improve the efficiency of their work and maximizes the impact of their promotion budgets and modifies their product varieties. Their major clients include The Coca-Cola Company, Nestle, The Procter & Gamble Company and Walmart.

Indian consumers most confident in world in Q1 2016: Nielsen

The Consumer Confidence Index score for India increased three index points in the first quarter to a score of 134, the highest for the country since 2007 and comes after three consecutive quarters at 131, Nielsen said in a statement.
