About the Expert
Having a remarkable 39 years of experience in the automotive and farm equipment sectors, Rajan Wadhera is currently the President of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the apex body of the Indian automotive industry.
He is also a Senior Advisor at Mahindra Group, where he earlier served as the President - Auto Sector, and spearheaded research & development initiatives, technology incubation, sourcing, manufacturing, program management, vendor management, and new parts development. Alongside, he is the Chairman of CII National Committee on Technology and R&D.
Previously, Wadhera has also served as the President of Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), the autonomous body engaged in R&D activities in the auto sector.
He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and has completed a course in Advanced Management Program from University of Pennsylvania.
