Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 4449 units in October 2016 as compared to 3854 units in October 2015, representing a growth of 15.4%.
The heavy duty segment was expected to touch a new peak in the current year with huge growth based on both replacements as well as additional truck requirements with a massive focus on infrastructure and core sectors in the economy.
The company has launched Pro 8031XM 8x4 tipper with 330 HP with rock body and box body options for mining and Pro 6025T 6x4 box body with 220 HP and RMC with 210 HP for construction sectors.
In the domestic commercial vehicle market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses experienced a jump of 39 percent. On the exports front, the company have recorded sales of 388 units as compared to 558 units in October 2014.
