Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has announced a significant reduction in the price of CNG (compressed natural gas). The prices have been slashed by INR 2.50 per kg, which is a 3% decrease. This marks the first price reduction in 11 months and is a result of the decline in global prices. Starting from Thursday, CNG will be available at INR 74.09 per kg in Delhi.

India has decided to allow foreign airlines to operate non-scheduled cargo flights from all international airports in the country for three years, lifting restrictions imposed in 2020. The move follows lobbying by exporters who raised concerns about limited goods capacity due to Indian carriers not deploying enough aircraft to meet demand. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a circular on February 12, stating that foreign and non-scheduled freighter charter service operations will be permitted at all international airports to facilitate air cargo movements.

Delhi's AAP government set new benchmarks in public services in 2023. The Statistical Handbook-2023 released by the department of economics and statistics highlights the achievements. Per capita income increased by 14% to Rs 4,44,768, surpassing the national average by 158%. Minimum wages of skilled and unskilled workers were the highest in the country. The city's public transport improved with over 7,200 buses, including 1,300 electric buses. The power sector saw an addition of 2.8 lakh new electricity consumers and uninterrupted supply. Piped water network expanded with over one lakh new consumers. Social welfare initiatives included monthly pension for 4 lakh senior citizens, benefits for 1.7 lakh girls through the Ladli scheme, and financial assistance for 11,570 families affected by Covid-19.
