Now, Amritsar city bus service comes to a halt

The city bus service project, which was launched in Amritsar in 2014 with much fanfare, has officially closed down following huge losses. A large fleet of buses that were put in service to streamline the chaotic city traffic and to provide an affordable public transportation system have now been rendered obsolete.
