Isuzu Motors was established in the year 2012 and has its headquarters in Chennai. The company manufactures and markets multipurpose pickups and sports utility vehicles. It is a subsidiary of ISUZU Motors Limited. The company conducts in depth nation-wide study of Indian customers to understand the tradition of needs- based approach to product development and excellence. The company presently sells their range of ISUZU D-Max pick-up trucks that includes variants like regular cab flat deck and s-cab. The company also sells a large sized sports utility vehicle called mu-X. The company has created their network with about 28 dealer outlets in the country that includes cities like: Jaipur, Cochin, Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Rajkot, Tirupati, Madurai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jalandhar, Kolkata and many more. Their products are sold through the Isuzu outlets to meet the market demands for pick-up trucks. The company plans to increase its dealer outlets in the future. The company has established its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. This plant will have an initial production capacity of more than 50,000 units and can be scaled up to 120,000 units. They signed a MoU with Andhra Pradesh government to help in investments by their nominated supplier partners in the state. The parent company Isuzu Motors Limited is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is a popular manufacturer of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, utility vehicles and diesel vehicles across the globe. On an annual basis, the company manufactures and sells more than six lakh vehicles across the globe. The Isuzu brand is getting future ready with renewed focus on their product innovation, engineering excellence and customer support.

India’s oil demand to rise 50% by 2030 against global expansion of 7%: Report

India’s oil consumption is forecast to rise from 4.8 million barrels per day (mbd) in 2019 to 7.2 mbd in 2030 and 9.2 mbd in 2050, as per the IEA’s key scenario based on stated policies.
