7. Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire - 57,509 units
November 18, 2015, 13:38 ISTMaruti Suzuki India's compact sedan Swift Dzire which always remain in the top five selling passenger vehicles list, is the sixth most recalled vehicle in India.
In November 2013, 581 units of Dzire were recalled for defective steering column.
The highest number of the car (42,481 units) was recalled in April 2014 for replacing fuel filler neck.
Another 12,486 Dzires were recalled in September 2014.
In July 2014, the car attained 10 lakh cumulative sales mark.
In May 2016, 1,961 DZire Diesel cars (only AGS variant) have been recalled to attended to for inspection and replacement of a faulty fuel filter.
