Auto Expo 2016: Vehicles that made everyone go crazy
2. Maruti Suzuki Ignis Concept
February 08, 2016, 00:51 ISTOn the second day of the expo, covers were lifted from Maruti's all new hatchback Ignis.
The Ignis was first showcased in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show last year where it was called the iM-4. Maruti Suzuki has developed the Ignis keeping in mind the rapidly growing mini-SUV segment.
The all new Ignis is set to get two different engine options.
While it may get the 1.2-litre petrol mill that makes 84.3PS and 115Nm of torque, it could also come with the Fiat sourced 1.3-litre 4-cylinder diesel mill that makes 90PS and 190Nm. Both these engines will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
