First VW Group SUV to be based on MQB platform
September 15, 2015, 17:12 ISTAfter selling over 2.64 million units of the first generation, this second genearation is going to be the first Volkswagen Group SUV to be based on the MQB (Modular Transverse Matrix) platform. Its weight was also reduced by over 50 kg compared to the previous model.
