January 04, 2016, 18:36 ISTA company called Exito has come up with the innovative idea of installing a solar panel on the roof and a separate battery on a regular e-rickshaw.
The usual habit of e-rickshaw drivers is to not use running lights at night to conserve the main battery and increase the distance covered on one charge.
Whether this will be sufficient to induce e-rickshaw drivers to turn on their lights at night, remains to be seen.
