March 08, 2017, 11:44 ISTGlobally the car will be available with 1.0 BoosterJet petrol engine, 1.2 Dualjet petrol engine and the SHVS mild hybrid engine which gets an electric motor, and a 12-volt lithium-ion battery. Suzuki claims an average 5% improvement in fuel economy overall.
Maruti Suzuki Swift in India will be powered by 1.2L petrol engine and 1.3L multijet diesel engine and will be offered with an option of automatic and manual gearbox.
