Ameo is important for Volkswagen
February 16, 2016, 19:25 ISTJurgen Stackmann, board member and head of sales and marketing at Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said "We are counting a lot in India for Ameo, our first fully India car. I think it sends a very strong signal in many regards from Volkswagen here in India. We are a young brand."
"I think we are still learning, as to what the brand means for Indian customers they love German engineering, they love German quality, and they love us for being the most accessible German premium brand. Ameo is the first clear sign that we are moving in that direction."
