Upcoming vehicle launches in 2016
Maruti Baleno RS
April 18, 2016, 22:57 ISTMaruti Suzuki is likely to launch a version of the Baleno compact to be sold as RS variant around the festive season.
It will be sold through the company's premium dealership network Nexa. The Baleno RS variant will sport a 1-litre direct injection, turbo-charged petrol engine.
This engine will be smaller in size and deliver a power output higher to the existing 1.2-litre petrol variant, while also being more fuel-efficient.
The RS version of Baleno is expected to carry a premium to the existing petrol model. It was first unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016.
