All New Ford Endeavour specs and features revealed

American automobile manufacturer Ford India is all set to launch its all new Endeavour anytime soon; January 20 is expected to to be the most probable date.

But, even before its launch the company has officially released specifications and features of this SUV.
It will be available in 2.2l and in 3.2l TDCi Turbo Diesel engines.

2.2 l engine will have a horsepower of 160PS (118kW) and 385Nm of torque.

While, the 3.2l engine will churn out 200PS (147kW) of power and 470Nm of torque.
The All New Ford Endeavour will come in six exterior colours - Sunset Red, Diamond White, Golden Bronze, Moondust Silver, Panther Black, and Smoke Grey.
It will have a total of six variants -

1. 4X2 MT Trend (2.2l engine, 2 airbags)

2. 4X2 AT Trend (2.2l engine, 2 airbags)

3. 4X4 MT Trend (2.2l engine, 2 airbags)

4. 4X4 AT Trend (3.2l engine, 2 airbags)

5. 4X2 AT Titanium (2.2l engine, 6 airbags)

6. 4X4 AT Titanium (3.2l engine, 7 airbags)
Advanced sensor technologies were applied while making the Endeavour. Parking the vehicle has been easier with Semi Auto Parallel Park Assist.

It has three driving modes - Sand, Snow/Mud, and Rock.

Its Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS) with Pull-Drift Compensation technology measures the driver’s steering input, adapts to changing road conditions and helps compensate for slight directional shifts.

SYNC 2 voice activation works according to your command. Hands-free phone call to your family and friends by just saying their name, hands-free music selection, and hands-free climate control all adds to the convenience of the passengers.
Reverse with confidence with a full and clear vision of what’s behind you on screen, and the sound of the rear parking sensors alerting you of any obstacles.
It has a water wading capacity of 800mm with ground clearance of 225mm.

Some of its features include - Terrain Management System, Electric locking rear differential for slippery or rugged terrains, Hill Descent Control and Launch Assist.
Its aerodynamic design likely to aid in more fuel savings. Moreover, it automatically transfers torque between the front and rear wheels.

It will even send all the torque to a single wheel if the system detects the other three wheels have no traction at all.

It also features Electronic Stability Control.
This 7-seater Endeavour has leather upholstery. The electric Powerfold 3rd row seat folds flat to give a stable surface, at the press of a button.
Appreciate the great outdoors even when you’re indoors. The Endeavour’s Electric panoramic sun roof takes up almost 50% of the roof space so you can experience the outdoors, at the touch of a button.
Its 2nd row has 60/40 split seat and 3rd row 50/50 split seat.

Endeavour's Power Tailgate opens and closes at the touch of a button, making it easier to pack a heavy load.
Inspired by the popular noise cancellation headphones, Endeavour’s Active Noise Cancellation uses three highly sensitive microphones to detect and measure engine noise, then cancels it using opposing sound waves.
