Auto Expo 2016: A treat for two wheeler riders

This all new scooter is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve 113cc engine with Continuously Variable Transmission(CVT) units.

It will have two variants - disk brake and drum brake.
Japanese two wheeler manufacturer India Yamaha Motor launched the all new Roadster Motard - MT-09, at the Auto Expo 2016.

Priced at Rs 10,20,000 (ex showroom Delhi), it mounts a newly developed 847cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line triple-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with ABS technology.

This model will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) by India Yamaha Motor (IYM), and will have two exterior colours - Race Blue, Matt Grey.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched a new segment Navi at the Auto Expo 2016. Priced at Rs 39,500 (ex showroom Delhi), Navi will come in 5 colour options - Patriot Red, Hopper Green, Shasta White, Sparky Orange and Black. The delivery of Navi will start from April, 2016 onwards. It is the first 100% Honda R&D India model - from concept development to commercial production.

The 998cc parallel twin uses Honda’s exclusive four-valve Unicorn cylinder- head design for smooth, tractable power.

Offered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a new DCT transmission with selectable on and off-road modes, both versions have ABS standard with rear ABS on/off and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
Suzuki has given its popular 125cc scooter, the "Access", a much needed upgrade. The Suzuki Access 125 now features a redesigned fascia and headlamp that gives it a slightly retro appeal. The indicators and side panels have been refurbished as well.

The tail lamp cluster is a kind of wrap around. The Access now gets LED brake lights and clear lens turn indicators. It continues to use a 125cc single pot unit that produces peak power of 9PS and max torque of 10Nm.

The Japanese car maker has introduced the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) that helps reduce frictional losses. The Suzuki Access 125 continues to be mated to a CVT geat box and features telescopic forks in the front.

Suzuki has also fitted the Access with disc brakes instead of the 120mm drum brakes from the previous generation model.
Suzuki reintroduced the Gixxer SF with Fuel injection and rear disc brake option, at the ongoing Auto Expo.

The SF with Fi is powered by the same 155 cc engine that does duty in the Gixxer motorcycle.

Along with the FI update, Suzuki will now also offer the Gixxer SF with a 240mm rear disc option with a single floating caliper which is sure to improve the braking capabilities of the motorcycle.
Hero MotoCorp unveiled its first in-house developed motorcycle, Splendor iSmart 110, at the 13th Auto Expo.

Splendor iSmart 110 is the company's first completely in-house developed motorcycle, since separating from erstwhile partner Honda.

Splendor iSmart 110 is powered by an air cooled, single cylinder four stroke 110cc engine. The engine is mated to a four speed gear-box.
It comes equipped with liquid cooled, 4- Stroke, 4 -valve, DOHC, mated to 6-speed transmission.

Its chassis is made up of Geodesic tubular high strength steel.
It comes equipped with Long Range Li-Ion Battery, Plug in Charger, Anti-Theft and Bike finder Smart Phone Technology.
It is a low-slung cruiser powered by a 279cc single cylinder water-cooled engine developing 25bhp at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, mated to a six speed transmission.

It is launched at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
First showcased at 2015 EICMA in Milan, has been launched at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).

The Renegade Sport S model will also share the same engine as the Renegade Commando.
TVS AKULA concept racer is a tribute to TVS Racing's 33 years of dominant race heritage.

Conceived ground up as a track machine, it is mated to a quick shifting 6 speed gearbox.

TVS ENTORQ210 is a smart and premium touring Scooter Concept, designed and developed in-house.

Its all aluminum, liquid cooled fuel injected 212.5 cc powertrain is mated to an advanced Variomatic transmission gearbox. It can reach a top speed of 120 kmph.

TVS ENTORQ210 is built on an all new next generation ‘Platform Technology’ which combines a lightweight high-grade steel chassis with inverted front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension to give dynamic control at all speeds.
The Benelli TRK 502, first showcased at 2015 EICMA in Milan, is powered by a new 500 cc liquid-cooled inline twin-cylinder engine that produces 48 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 45 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, and mated to a six-speed gearbox.
It was also earlier unveiled at the EICMA 2015 show and for the first time debuted in Indian market at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. The 135cc motor produces 12.6PS and 10.8Nm. T-135 features 12-inch wheels and a twin-pipe exhaust.
Italian two-wheeler maker Piaggio forayed into India's premium two-wheeler market by unveiling sports scooter-bike Aprilia SR 150, at the Expo.

The model, which will be launched in August, is a blend of motorbikes and scooter and sports a 150 cc engine.

The crossover will have 14-inch wheels like motorbikes and auto-gears like scooters.
The Mojo Concept has four trails - Mountain, Coastal, Jungle, and Desert Trails.
Two wheeler manufacturer Mahindra has showcased an all electric pick up scooter genZe at the Auto Expo 2016.

It has a top speed of 30mph. With a charge time of 0-100 percent in 3.5 hours, genZe's range is minimum of 30 miles per charge.

It can accelerate from 0-30mph in 8 seconds.
The new generation Bonneville Street Twin was launched by Triumph Motorcycles at a price of Rs 6.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Street Twin is the base version of the new generation Bonneville. It is powered by an all-new, 900cc parallel-twin engine that gets liquid-cooling for the first time in the bike's history.

Power output stands at 55PS, and the peak torque is at 80Nm. Bonneville continues to employ the five 5-speed transmission.
