Cars that are likely to be showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2016

Maruti Suzuki India's micro SUV Ignis (codenamed YJC) is likely to be launched in September 2016.

It debuted at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, and is likely to be priced between Rs 4.5-6.5 lakh.

The Ignis measures 3679mm x 1579mm x 1478mm.
Another micro SUV from Maruti Suzuki's kitty. Based on XA Alpha concept, Brezza is likely to make its India debut at the upcoming motor show.

Expected to be priced between Rs 4.99-8.5 lakh, it might get launched in April 2016.

For the Indian market, Brezza might get both petrol and diesel engine options. Some of the expected features include - reverse parking camera, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and airbags.
Showcased first in 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the Datsun GO Cross concept would enter production in both India and Indonesia.

Based on India's highly localised low-cost platform, the GO Cross will be priced against Ford EcoSport.

It is based on GO+ MPV platform.
Datsun Redi GO "combines the practicality of a five-door hatchback with a rugged SUV appearance", said Arun Malhotra, MD, Nissan Motor India.

Codenamed as i2, it is expected to be priced between Rs 2.9-4.9 lakh.

The common engine made by Renault-Nissan Alliance is likely to power Redi GO. The engine platform is being fully developed in India with Nissan's V-Platform (Micra, Sunny) and the K2 platform products (Datsun Go, Go+) as the base.
Chevrolet Spin (likely to be named Essentia) will be a premium seven-seater MPV and it will be placed above the Chevrolet Enjoy.

It will be made available only with a diesel engine. The Essentia will target the premium MPV buyer and will be priced between Rs 9-13 lakhs (on-road).

The Essentia will be manufactured in the company's Halol plant in Gujarat and GM will be looking at exporting this as well.
Nexon will mark Tata Motors' entry into the compact SUV segment in India. Its official launch is expected to happen at the end of 2016.

Codenamed at X104, Tata Nexon is likely to priced somewhere between Rs 4.99-8.5 lakh.

The sub-4m SUV is expected to be powered by four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
Tata Hexa concept will also mark the company's entry into the SUV segment.

Measuring 4764mm x 1895mm x 1780mm, its design is quite similar to the Aria.

It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 13-18 lakh.
BR-V made its global debut at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2015.

It is scheduled to be marketed first in Indonesia in early 2016.

This seven-seater SUV is expected to be the first direct competition to Maruti Suzuki's S-Cross.

It may be priced approximately between Rs 10.83 to Rs 12.50 lakh. It is likely to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants.
India bound all new Toyota Innova has been launched in Indonesia. This second generation MPV is expected to be launched in India next year.

In India it is expected to be available in both petrol and diesel engines, and priced between Rs 13.59 lakh - Rs 20.43 lakh.

The new Innova measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,795mm in height.
Mercedes Benz's new luxury crossover will have the interiors of a sedan and the stance of an SUV.

The GLC-Class is aimed squarely at the Volvo XC60, BMW X3, Porsche Macan, Audi Q5, and the Land Rover Discovery Sport.
Ford's halo car will aim to add value and enthusiasm into the brand.

The Mustang will be launched by the end of the year.
The smallest offering from Jaguar, the XE could capture a wider audience for the British carmaker.

Though, it will have to battle it out with the likes of the BMW 3 series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes C-Class in its segment.
