Eager to see new cars in 'Spectre'? Check out 10 Bond cars that aren't Aston Martins
Bond has used, at some point of time in his movies, other car brands too as his choice of mode of transport. Here, we look at 10 such cars which are not Aston Martin, but still got the pleasure of being driven by Agent 007.
In this slide, we have Sunbeam Alpine Series II which was used in the movie Dr No released in the year 1962

Originally, a hard top, the car was modified by Toyota as an open top car because the low roof did not allow the tall protagonist to sit comfortably. The Japanese company made the changes only on this one unit for the movie.
Only 351 units of 2000GT were ever built.
Ford was so interested in having James Bond drive a Mustang, that the American company offered to provide as many cars needed for the shooting. It is said that almost all the cars destroyed during filming were Fords.
AMC Hornet ended up being part of one of the most memorable car stunts in a bond movie ever, when Bond used it to do a 360 degree barrel roll over a river.
In the movie, the car transformed into a mini submarine when Bond drove off a cliff into the sea during a chase sequence.
The custom built submarine was designed by US-based Perry Oceanographic Inc in 1977 for about $100,000 at the time and was named Wet Nellie.
In all, six modified Esprits were used for the filming.
To cope up with the demand of the high-speed chase, Citroen 2CV was fitted with a flat-4 engine from a Citroën GS for more power.
Rolls Royce Silver cloud II, unlike many other in the list, was the main Bond car in the movie.
It was also the most highly endowed Bond car ever at the time, yet the most disappointing.
It was disappointing because whatever feature which were demonstrated in the laboratory, like the parachute breaking system, self-destruct system, ejector seat and stinger missiles housed behind the headlights, are never actually used on the action field.
It is said that after Golden eye topped the charts, the sales of this roadster too spiked.
Some of the features in the car included bullet proof windows, body that can withstand being hit by a sledgehammer, electrified door handles, tear gas. But the best of them all was that the car could be remotely driven by using a phone.
This was the probably the first time that so many features of bond car were showcased in a movie.
Bajaj's auto rickshaw was used in the movie Octopussy, which was released in the year 1983. The modest auto rickshaw is shown pulling off a perfect wheelie during a chase sequence through crowded Indian streets.
