Expected Hybrid and EV launches in 2019

In the wake of green mobility, carmakers are gearing up for the launch of at least six electric and hybrid cars and SUVs this year. This marks one step forward for the vision to achieve 30% electrification of the entire fleet by 2030.

Four-wheel-drive E-tron has aerodynamics as important part of its design. Audi is expected to launch its first electric SUV in last quarter of 2019.

The SUV has a range of over 140km and has optional fast charging that could charge the battery to 80 percent in an hour. Mahindra eKUV is expected to launch in mid 2019.

Kona will be assembled in India. It has 300km of driving range on a single charge. Expected launch for Hyundai Kona is April, 2019.

Based on Heartect platform, WagonR EV is expected to roll out in end of 2019. Last year, Maruti Suzuki commenced its nationwide testing of electric fleet.

With ‘lntelligent Multi-Mode Drive‘ (i-MMD) and high definition touchscreen display system, Honda Accord Hybrid is expected to launched in 2019 end.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle comes with our latest 4th generation hybrid electric engine and is expected to launch n first half of this year.
