Tata Motors’ much awaited sport utility vehicle (SUV) Hexa will be launched in January 2017.

Recently, there has been a major shift in the consumer buying preference as the UV segment has posted a robust growth in April-September period.

This shift is due to low fuel prices, increasing disposable income and low-interest rate.

These factors can contribute to the sales number of Tata Motors’ Hexa in the future.
The Hexa is based on the Aria. It will get the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, however it is likely to produce about 170bhp of power and 400Nm of maximum torque.

This engine will come with a six-speed manual as will as an automatic (ZF) transmission.
It features star-shaped 10-spoke alloy wheels.
Tata Hexa gets a large honeycomb grille that is underlined by a U-shaped chrome strip.
The SUV will measure 4764 x 1895 x 1780 mm, and the bookings for the same is likely to start from November 2016.
The Tata Hexa was also displayed at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo held during February in Greater Noida
"Hexa will be our display of impact design philosophy which is to engage customers, to excite customers and excel in whatever we do," said Mayank Pareek, President, PV, Tata Motors.
The new ‘Super Drive Modes’ feature, is a combination of the vehicles Engine performance, new-generation Electronic Stability Program, Instrument Cluster displays and the vehicles ambient lighting and can be activated through a well-placed rotary knob, on the center console.
Tata Hexa will feature four driving modes called as ‘Super Drive Modes’ namely auto mode, comfort mode, dynamic mode and rough road mode.
It is likely to come in seven variants with six airbags available for the top variant.
