Here's What is new and changed in the facelifted Volkswagen Vento

Volkswagen, the German auto major recently unveiled the all new Vento. The mid-life facelift comes with minor changes that distinguishes it ever so slightly from its predecessor Here are some pictures of the new car.

While the space inside the new Vento is decent, when compared to the likes of segment leader Honda City and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Vento still has some catching up to do.

The vento features new colour themes of ‘walnut desert beige’ in the top-end Highline trim; and cloud-Titanschwarz in trendline and comfortline variants.

Volkswagen is known for providing good safety features in its cars. The new vento too comes with ABS (in Comfortline and Highline), ESP and hill hold function (in DSG variants) and dual front air bags as standard.

The build quality and the feel of the buttons is, as expected from Volkswagen, good.

The new Vento also comes with an option of 7 speed DSG variant along with 5-speed manual transmission.

Volkswagen's this sedan also comes equipped with cruise control. With these new features that Vento hopes to attract more customers compared to the outgoing model.

New Volkswagen will be available with 1.6 litre MPI,1.2 litre TSI with & speed DSG and 1.5 litre TDI engines. The German carmaker claims that the new Vento will deliver 7 percent more fuel efficiency in petrol variant and 2 percent better fuel efficiency in diesel variants than the previous Vento.

Look closely and the differences become evident in the new Vento. Apart from the new headlight design, the hood, and bumper has been re-designed. The triple-slat grille makes it look much wider than before.

The bootspace remains the same at 454 litres. The prices of the facelifted vento start at Rs 7.85 lakh and go up to Rs 10.62 lakh for the petrol version. For the diesel variants, the price ranges betweeen Rs 9.10 lakh and Rs 11.87 lakh for the diesel variants.
