Meet Renault's EV ZOE which travels 400km in single charge

At the Paris Motor Show 2016, Renault Launched the ZOE with a new Z.E. 40 battery which enables the car to travel 400km NEDC (equivalent to a real-world range of 300km in urban or suburban areas) on a single charge.

It goes on sale in Europe on an immediate basis.
This all electric car is also likely to come to India, as Sumit Sawhney, MD & CEO, Renault India said "As the government wants at least 150 km range for EVs, we are sure our car ZOE will be very suitable as it has a range of 400 km."
Renault ZOE measures 4,084mm X 1,730mm X 1,562mm, with a 2,588mm wheelbase.
The Renault ZOE, fitted with new Z.E. 40 Lithium-ion battery, will be available in two versions - R90 and Q90, both having an on-board battery power of 41 kWh.

They have a top speed of 135 kph.
Renault ZOE's blue interior colour pack is further enhanced with leather soft seats. It has electric train-inspired seats.
ZOE owners can now benefit from a range of new connected services and equipment upgrades - it locates all public charging stations in association with the R-LINK navigation system, it permits the use of most charging stations irrespective of their operator, plus simplified payment using a smartphone, and door-to-door navigation.

Some of its safety features include - hill start assist, electronic stability control, Z.E. voice.

Z.E Voice lets pedestrians know you are coming when you are driving between 1 and 18 miles/hour.
Z.E. signature headlamps and electric badge, distinctive LED daytime running lights displays the portrait of an electric vehicle.
Some of its features include - automatic gearbox, automatic climate control, rain & light sensors, navigation, and Z.E. Trip app.
