Mustang Mach E: All you need to know about Ford's first electric-SUV
For the first time in 55 years, Ford expanded its Mustang line-up with all electric Mach E SUV launched on 17th November 2019, joining sports coupe, convertible and special editions.
Starting price range from about $43,895 for the base “Select” model to $60,500 for the GT.
Mach E is the definition of Speed. Ford used this name to signify a performance car that looked like it could break the sound barrier and upped the pony car ante.
Mach E has got signature Mustang elements such as long hood, rear-haunch design, aggressive headlights and trademark tri-bar tail lamps.
The Mach E holds a drain able front trunk storage under its hood providing 4.8 cubic feet of storage space which can be used for storing beverages or smaller space.
Mach-E is available in both standard-range (75.7 kWh lithium-ion battery) and extended-range (98.8 kWh battery), which has a targeted EPA-estimated range of at least 300 miles in rear-wheel-drive configuration.
Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition is targeting 0-60 mph in the mid-3-second range and an estimated 342 kW (459 horsepower) and 830 Nm (612 lb.-ft.) of torque.
Mach E comes embedded with 15.5-inch screen, next-generation SYNC communications and entertainment system to learn drivers’ preferences and access features with touch, swipe and pinch controls that every smartphone owner might be comfortable using.
Mustang Mach E delivers three drive experiences: Whisper, Engage and Unbridled. Its features include custom-designed vehicle responsiveness such as steering control, lighting, sounds and dynamic cluster animation tied to driving experience.
