Take a look at E-Raaja - India's first 100% indigenously designed green E-Rickshaw

OK Play India, pioneers in Roto Moulding Sector, forayed into automobile industry with 100% indigenously designed, developed, and Made in India green e-rickshaw - E-Raaja.

OK Play's ICAT approved E-Raaja will be officially launched on December 24, 2015 at the first ever International electric Vehicle Expo 'EV-EXPO'.

It was showcased to the media on December 22, 2015.
It has maximum dimensions of 2800 x 1000 x 1800. With maximum speed of 24 km/hr, its battery's range per charge is around 80 km.

Its total weight is 320 kgs, with a load capacity of 700 kgs.
Handa said, "The transition was natural, as, for over 2 decades now, OK Play India has been ingeniously using the Roto-Moulded plastics process and has the expertise to create world class, environment friendly automotive plastic products".

"Hence, the decision to choose E-Rickshaws to foray into automobile industry was quite obvious", he further added.
It will be available in both hydraulic disc brake and drum brake.

Some of its features include LED lights, comfortable leg space, aerodynamic grooves, comfortable arm rest, and robust roof.
Apart from being lightweight, they are maintenance free and can be moduled in a wide range of light fast and permanent colours.

They are more duarble, weather-proof, easy to install, has no nails, and has no wood.
"With over 90% of Indian components unlike most other e-rickshaws in the country which have about 95% Chinese components, makes OK Play's E-Raaja, truly in line with PM Narendra Modi's Make in India policy", said Handa.
It comes equipped with drivers personal storage area, forward/reverse switch, large advertising space, and ergonomic seats.
The company even organised a live demonstration of pendulum and hammer hit to show that the plastics with which E-Raaja is made are strong enough to resist any kind of difficulties.

They are fire resistant also.
