Tesla Model 3: Get to know the car, inside out

Tesla Motors, a company which is called the 'The Apple of auto industry,' will soon enter India to bite into the promising car market present in India.

Its wheel of choice to do so is Model 3, the 'relatively' low-cost sedan from Tesla
Tesla unveiled Model 3 in US and will be priced at $35,000 (Rs 23.2 lakh). The booking has already started at a booking price of $1000.
Elon Musk, Founder of Tesla Motors, announced during the unveiling that, at the time, it had already received bookings of over 115,000.

Within a day, the bookings have already crossed the 200,000 mark.
A Bangalore techie is thought to have become the first Indian to book the Tesla Model 3.

Many well-to-do in the country too have expressed interest in the car.
However, the delivery of the car is quite some time away. The deliveries of the car are expected to start only by the end of 2017.
Well, like all the previous Tesla products, Model 3 too is being considered a technological achievement. This is the fourth vehicle from the Tesla stable after Roadster, Model S and Model X
Tesla Model 3 will have a minimum 215 miles (346 km) per charge.

Nissan Leaf, the highest selling electric car in the world, on the other hand, has a range of 107 miles (172 km)
Tesla claims that Model 3 can do 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds.

It is as Elon Musk said at the unveiling, "We don't make slow cars at Tesla."
Musk claimed that Model 3 will have a 5-star rating. Not average 5-star, but 5-star in all categories
Even the Base model, at $35,000 will come with impressive feature list which will include Auto pilot safety features and supercharging capability.
Despite Model 3 being a fantastic product, Tesla could face numerous hurdles in India as the market and consumer behaviour in here entirely different from the US or European markets.

Rest assured, it will not be a 100m dash for Tesla, but a 400m hurdles, here in India
Model 3 has a simple dashboard design. So much so, that it doesn't even have dials.

Instead, all it has is a mammoth screen at the centre, which is expected to incorporate all that is needed.
