These cars & SUVs will be discontinued from India

Maruti Suzuki India has stopped production of its compact hatchback Ritz.

Sources also suggested that the car will be replaced by upcoming vehicle Ignis which is a compact crossover.
Maruti Suzuki has also stopped the production of its premium hatchback, the Swift.

The automaker is going to begin the production of its new Swift which will hit the Indian car market in the next couple of months.
Maruti Suzuki India is all set to stop selling its fleet focused sedan Dzire Tour by March 2017 to make way for the new Dzire.

According to another source, the carmaker has already informed its plans to stop the production of the Tour after February 2016 to its suppliers.
Hyundai Motor India has discontinued the production of its hatchback i10. Low sales were the major reason behind this step.
Renault India will no longer sell vehicles that are imported in a semi-knocked down (SKD) form, as part of its strategy to increase the local content in the products to make them competitive in this price-sensitive market.

Renault Fluence is one such vehicle which will be discontinued.
Renault Koleos, another vehicle imported in SKD form, will also be discontinued because of inappropriate pricing with less localisation.
The production of Tata Aria has been stopped by Tata Motors, likely to make way for Tata Hexa.
BMW has stopped production of Z4 Roadster, and the vehicle's last unit was produced in the month of August 2015.

The automaker has, however, planned a successor to this product - the BMW Z5.
