Groupe PSA officially announced its entry in India with Citroen C5 SUV
Citroen is going to be mass or centre of the market, says Linda.
Company aims to grab 2 per cent market share in next 5 years in India.
The company aims over 50 per cent sales from overseas market, creating a capacity for 100,000 units said Carlos Tavares, Chaiman of Managing Board, Groupe PSA.
Groupe PSA also announced that Citroen plans to bring in a range of products after Citroen Aircross SUV that will be made and launched in India before being introduced in other parts of the world.
In CY 2018, the company sold 3.9 million across the globe. Europe constitute about 17 per cent of its market share
The company will start exporting of vehicle and parts within 6 months of local launch.
