Tata Motors' marketing head for passenger vehicle, Delna Avari, resigned from the company for entrepreneurial pursuits.

Avari has been working with Tata Group since 2001 and has served in positions in India and abroad.
Volkswagen's former head of group quality control Frank Tuch left the carmaker as chief executive Matthias Mueller overhauled senior management positions following the emissions test-rigging scandal.

Tuch was appointed as head of group quality assurance in 2010. He will be replaced by Volkswagen group veteran Hans-Joachim Rothenspieler.
Mahindra & Mahindra Vice President auto division (sales) Jyoti Malhotra quit the company and joined Volvo Cars as Director (sales and marketing).

Malhotra joined Mahindra Renault in 2008 as head sales and Channel Marketing at Mahindra Renault and in 2010, he moved to Mahindra & Mahindra to handle North Zone business for the automotive division.
Sunil Kant Munjal, joint managing director of Hero MotoCorp and Chairman Hero Corporate Services step down from the Board of Directors of the two-wheeler maker to focus on his independent core business and to pursue new business interests.
Royal Enfield design director, Pierre Terblanche quit the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer after a short stint of 20 months.

Pierre has designed motorcycles like Ducati Multistrada, HyperMotard, X132 Hellcat Speedster to name a few.
Mahindra and Mahindra owned electric vehicle arm Reva's Chief Executive Officer Arvind Mathew quit the company. Mathew took the charge of CEO from Chetan Maini on May 1, 2015.

Mahesh Babu, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mahindra Reva filled up Mathew's post.
Caterpillar's chief executive Doug Oberhelman stepped down from his position as the heavy equipment maker suffers from a prolonged slowdown in the mining sector.

Doug Oberhelman handed over reins as chief executive to Caterpillar group president Jim Umpleby on January 1.

Oberhelman took over at Caterpillar in 2010 amid a booming commodities market. But he has been criticised for engineering an $8.8 billion 2011 takeover of mining-equipment maker Bucyrus shortly before the downturn.
Cyrus Mistry resigned as Chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of Indian conglomerate Tata Group. He joined Tata Sons as Chairman in December 2012.

Owing to boardroom battle, Cyrus Mistry was later ousted from all the companies, including Tata Motors, of the Group.
Repercussions of Cyrus Mistry’s ouster begun to be felt at Bombay House. Tata Group’s chief of human resources (CHRO), NS Rajan also resigned from his post.

The development came four days after Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry was ousted by the board and the group executive council (GEC) — of which Rajan was a member — was disbanded. The Tata Group is expected to soon announce a new CHRO.
Hyundai Motor Co's top US executive Dave Zuchowski resigned effective immediately, in the latest shake-up of the South Korean automaker's management ranks as it tracks toward its fourth consecutive year of profit declines.

The abrupt resignation comes after the replacement of Hyundai Motor's sales chief in South Korea and its China head over the past three months, and as the firm looks likely to miss global sales targets for the second year running.
