Upcoming vehicle launches in 2016
The company launched it in June 2016 at a price of Rs 6.25 crore.
The company is confident that India, which is projected to be home to the fourth-highest number of billionaires in the world by 2023, will be one of its key markets.
It will be sold through the company's premium dealership network Nexa. The Baleno RS variant will sport a 1-litre direct injection, turbo-charged petrol engine.
This engine will be smaller in size and deliver a power output higher to the existing 1.2-litre petrol variant, while also being more fuel-efficient.
The RS version of Baleno is expected to carry a premium to the existing petrol model. It was first unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016.

It comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine that churns out 600bhp along with a maximum torque of 900Nm.

Priced at a range of Rs 2.39 lakh - Rs 3.34 lakh (ex showroom Delhi), the car comes equipped with an all new suspension system, efficient 3 cylinder 0.8L engine, 5-speed manual transmission and has a ground clearance of 185mm.
It comes equipped with 6.4 HEMI V8 engine which features a massive mechanical "wet" clutch and Electronic Limited Slip Differential in the rear.
It has Nappa leather-trimmed seats, mineral gray pockets, a 19-speaker sound system, and Bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lamps.
The Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system delivers off-road capability.
It comes equipped with Electronic stability and trailer Stray control.
It is expected to be priced between Rs 25-30 lakh.
It debuted at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, and is likely to be priced between Rs 4.5-6.5 lakh.
The Ignis measures 3679mm x 1579mm x 1478mm.
Its official launch is expected to happen at the end of 2016.
Codenamed at X104, Tata Nexon is likely to priced somewhere between Rs 4.99-8.5 lakh.
The sub-4m SUV is expected to be powered by four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
It has not only decided to showcase the vehicle at the Auto Expo but also launch it in India with local manufacturing, which may help the company price it at Rs 18-20 lakh.
Tucson will be positioned between the in-demand Creta SUV and Santa-FE SUV.
It is scheduled to be marketed first in Indonesia in early 2016.
This seven-seater SUV is the first direct competition to Maruti Suzuki's S-Cross.
It is priced at Rs 8.7 lakh (ex Delhi).
It is offered in both petrol and diesel variants.
It will also be 85 kg lighter than its predecessor.
It will compete with the likes of Toyota Camry.
In India it is available in diesel engine, and priced between Rs 13.83 lakh - Rs 20.77 lakh (ex Delhi).
The new Innova measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,795mm in height.
It comes with an all new developed frame, an all new engine and for the first time an all new 6 speed automatic transmission.
It has two variants - disk brake and drum brake.
In addition to heritage, there's plenty of modern tech now coming with the new Mustang.
The Mustang that will be launched in India will have a 5 litre V8 engine which will produce 420 hp of power and a torque of 529 NM. This will help the car reach a top speed of 250 kmph.
The Mustang has been launched in July at a price of Rs 65 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
It is also the first product to be launched as part of the two manufacturers' strategic alliance.
The G 310 R will be powered by a 313cc single-cylinder, four-valve liquid-cooled engine which is expected to put out close to 34 bhp at 9000 rpm.
It will have to compete to the likes of Honda CBR250, Kawasaki Ninja 300, and Mahindra Mojo.
According to the US-based manufacturer, the bike has been localised heavily, and the Renegade Sports S gets tyres sourced from TVS, Gabriel suspension bits and locally sourced head-lamp, tail lamp and instrument consoles.
Styling has been inspired by larger cruiser bikes and the Renegade S is expected to be showcased with a stealth black paint job with contrasting orange accents.
The cruiser is powered by a 279cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder fuel-injected motor churning out close to 28PS at 8,600 rpm and 22.76Nm at 6,300 rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
It will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
It has four different riding modes - Sport, Street, Rain, and Off-road, and also features Anti-lock Braking System.
Honda CBR300R will be one of its major competitor.
Expected to be priced around Rs 70,000 - Rs 75,000, it has an engine displacement of 149.5 cc and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.
