Volkswagen India's upcoming Beetle revealed

German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen India is soon going to launch its fourth product in India, its new car Beetle.

The company has already started pre launch bookings for the same with an minimum amount of Rs 1 lakh.
It will come equipped with 1.4 TSI 110 kW (150 PS) petrol engine mated to a 7-speed automatic DSG gearbox.

It will also have 16" alloy wheels.
The car which is going to compete with the likes of MIN Cooper S and Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione will be available in four different exterior colours - Habanero Orange, Oryx White, Tornado Red, and Blue Silk.
Its safety features include - central locking, hill hold control, electronic stability control, ABS, ASR, EDL and EDTC.

Some other features are disc brakes, front underbody guard, 3 point seat belts, front with belt tensioner, standard six airbags, electronic immobilizer, and front & rear park distance control, with acoustic warning
The sporty rear tailgate spoiler optimises the aerodynamics of the rear design.

It comes with the new dual exhaust.
Bi-xenon headlights with range adjustment and LED daytime running lights ensure you are visible to other road users in any weather.
The front fog lamps will be great help when driving through low-visibility areas.
Electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs for convenience, designed with in-built indicators.
Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with three colour options, sunglass compartment in glovebox are some of its features which make Beetle more elegant and sporty.
It has dual zone air conditioning system, eight speakers, multi function display, rain contrl, cruise control, and 12 volt socket in centre console, front and rear.
