What's in store for bike enthusiasts this quarter?

The new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is derived from Hajou DR 300, a bike by Suzuki's Chinese partner and will be similar to it. Engine will be a 250cc unit along with air and liquid cooling. It will come with standard ABS. Expected to be launched in June, it will be competing with the likes of Yamaha FZ-25.

Two-wheeler makers are all set to launch new motorcycle variants in the first quarter of this fiscal. After a recent Bajaj's 2019 Dominar 400 launch, nine more models are expected to be launched till June. With the launch of these bikes, companies hope to revive the dampened consumer sentiments in coming fiscal.

Here are some models that are expected to see the light of the day in the first quarter of FY’20.

The bike has its 798cc inline triple similar to the company’s model Rivale and F3 800. In this bike, rider can switch engines modes easily to change peak power, rev limiter and throttle response. It comes equipped with ABS, traction control, as well as ride-by-wire throttle.

The bike is expected to launch in June this year.

Launching in April, this bike has bi-directional quickshifter, Bosch's six axis IMU, Ducati Wheelie Control, ABS as well as Ducati Traction Control. It has torque of 5,500 rpm which makes its performance smooth.

This motorbike was showcased at the EICMA 2018 show. According to BMW Motorrad, it has improved the seating geometry. The new chassis provides better handling and traction performance. It can also be customised with an electronic suspension.

Expected launch month is June, 2019.

The motorcycle is designed with 649cc liquid cooled four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve engine. It produces 95PS at 12,000rpm and generates 64Nm at 8,500rpm. Apart from these, it comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and assist/slipper clutch. It is expected to roll out in April.

Set to make its debut in May, the bike has a revised steering geometry. It will be equipped with an upside-down fork setup in the front, as well as new triple clamp. The platform is expected to remain similar to its predecessor.

The motorcycle has a 1,200cc twin cylinder motor and 1,200cc engine. The bike is built on Bonneville base elements and not on the Triumph Tiger. It will be having two models, Scrambler 1200 XC and XE. The motorbike is expected to launch in June.

It will be the most anticipated launch this month. Austrian manufacturer's newest addition to the Duke line will be equipped with 799cc LC8 liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine 104PS as well as 87Nm of torque. It will compete with the likes of Triumph Street Triple S, Kawasaki Z900, and the Ducati Monster 797.
