The company has an employee base of over 7000 employees. The also operate tyre care cenres that includes repairing inflation pressure check, rotation and servicing of tyres. They market their products and services under the brand names: JK Tyres, Vikrant and Tornel. The company is a popular brand worldwide with a strong customer base in more than eighty countries across the six continents. JK Tyres is a part of JK Organization group of companies. The company acquired Mexican tyre major: Tornel in the year 2008. They have a production facility in all the nine plants, and has a total production capacity of approximately 20 million tyres per annum. The company has a state of the art facility available at Mysore. HASETRI stands for Hari Shankar Singhania Elastomer and tyre research institute and is an independent research institute that specializes in the area of elastomer research and tyre mechanics. It was established to develop newer and better technologies for elastomers and tires. Tech centre: product development centre deals with the current and emerging needs of their customers.
